Reiki is a Japanese word for Universal Life Energy and describes a system of natural healing. When this energy flows uninterrupted there is balance and harmony within and around us, and we experience a sense of well being. In essence Reiki is a safe, gentle, yet profound system that can help the body physically, emotionally and spiritually. I have been working with the energy of Reiki for self-treatment and to support friends and family for many years and now feel it is time to offer this out to my wider Community.

In Aromatherapy we use the medicine of the volatile aromatic compounds in the plants to create healing shifts within the body. Aromatic inhalation of Essential Oils has been scientifically shown to help to rewire the the brain by interrupting the thought and emotional patterns that can trigger a stress response. Quite simply, Essential Oils re-set the “volume” on your limbic systems perception of threat and helps you feel more capable, calm and in control. As a certified Aromatherapist I am empowered to share the healing presence of these Oils daily.

Aromapoint Therapy is the application of property diluted Essential Oils on Acupoints and body zones to create a therapeutic shift. Employing the Chinese Medicine Model of healing we place Essential Oils on Acupoints (a place where we might traditionally use pressure or needles). These gentle placements pair the energetics of an Acupoint with an Oil and in doing so we can move energy and activate the body into a flow of natural healing. 

Together we will create a bespoke Session for your energetic and emotional healing based on your unique needs. You’ll remain fully clothed, but please wear loose and comfortable clothing. I will gently place my hands in a series of non-intrusive positions on or near the body. There is no massage or manipulation. We’ll select appropriate Essential Oils to work with, paired with key Acupoints. I will place these Oils on points on your body as you rest and relax.
You can book a single Treatment or schedule a sequence of four healing sessions in which we can deepen and integrate your healing. You’ll be gifted a few simple practices to work with after your Session to continue your healing process.
Essentially with all these modalities we are working towards creating flow within the body. An Old Chinese proverb teaches :

When there is flow, there is no pain
When there is pain, there is no flow.

Each Session is designed to put you back into a state of flow.
